90 day probation employment

50 days after i was hired i was fired

i ask for a reason for my termination

my manager could not give me a reason

i asked-the general manager he could not give me an

answer both stating they did not need a reason

is this true?

It is true that in Florida a company does not need to give an employee any reason for terminating that employee. An employee may be terminated for any reason, even a bad or stupid reason. Still, an employee may not be terminated on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex, age or disability, and if you believe you were terminated for one of those reasons you should talk to an employment lawyer.
