Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Car Allowance

Are there any laws governing employers to pay an employee compensation for the use of their cars. My employee paid me a set car allowance, which was less than the cost of my gas alone, not including the miles I drove. Can I sue them for the rest of the money that I have spent over and above what they have given me.They also fired me after I asked for more compensation for my vehicle expenses and said it was due to quality issues.

Re: Car Allowance

Given the amount at issue, even if you are legally entitled to any recovery, it would be a small claims issue.
