Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I am a commissioned salesman. At the end of my shifts I am sometimes asked to clock out and help the manager do closing tasks, like balancing register tills, safe counts etc.. I'm encouraged to clock out before doing this. The other night I was still at the store working two hours after clocking out. If I'm commissioned, do they not have to worry about paying me for this? Do commissioned workers have rights?

Would need to look at your job duties, but you are probably entitled to get paid, at minimum for the time you have been working off the clock. Would be happy to speak with you to discuss further. Let me know. You can contact me at [email protected]
