Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I as demoted from manger back to staff after an employee complained she was afraid of me. She said since I was in ex-military and ex-law enforcement she was afraid, I would come to work and shoot her. This is after she was disciplined her for not doing her job. The second time she was written for not doing her job, she call and stated, I had created a hostile work environment. I did not write her up either time the area manager did. Now I have been drilled about making threats to her and then demoted and told to drive 53 miles one way to work in another building or be fired. I did not threaten her ever. I was told by the area manager that this female likes to stir trouble. The area manger stated she wanted to fire her but had to be careful because this employee is a trouble maker. Can I sue for liable and damages. The area manager stated that my financial numbers were not good for month of November. I was able to obtain a copy of November Records. I had the highest percentages and made than any other building or Manager. I feel I was made the escape goat and forced to drive 53 miles ( 1 1/2 hours one way), to force me to quit. Do I have a cause of liable or defamation of character. The sad twist to this is. I do not own a gun, and would never think of using a weapon or injuring anyone on purpose. I received metals in Military for saving lives. Never once while in law enforcement did I ever pull my weapon on anyone.
