Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
Is my employer responsible for the damage caused by another employee to my vehicle? The place of business is in a shopping center. The damage was done by a football.

I would say that if the employee was acting within the scope of his/her employment, even if negligently, the employer may be liable. However, if the employee's job is not in the parking lot and has nothing to do with footballs, I would say the employee was not acting within the scope of his/her employment or as an agent of the employer, and the employee is personally liable. I think more facts are needed to give any more of an opinion.
