Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

employment law

I am owed a few thousand dollars from a company, that had refused payment. I was made to use my own vehicle/insurance and personal phone for 6 months and 10000 miles. In that entire timeframe I recieved 7 qts. of oil and 1 oil filter as re-inbursment. Upon the vehicle breaking down, and requiring significant repair, I was let go. The very same day, after I informed them of the problem with my truck. I am owed over 100 hours of overtime pay. The 100 hours to this point has either never been paid at all or a small portion was paid as regular time. I have a sales commission owed to me which is 10% of $15000 upgrade sale. The company handbook says it was to be paid when the company gets paid which was 3 weeks ago. This commission stems from one of the known jobs that is not licensed or permitted.

This comapny refuses to provide me with a current total of the hours they owe me, but I have one from a couple of weeks ago that says they owe me 67 hours at18.00 per, but that is my regular time pay. I have every copy of everything they have provided me though.

thank you for your time

J. Anderson

Re: employment law

Sounds like you are getting ripped off and will need to sue them.
