Employment termination

Can an Employer legally terminate an employee when wriiten in the termination letter,the reasons cannot be substantiated,no proof of reasons given,no documentations etc.?

The short answer is yes, assuming there is no employment contract or union agreement, an employer may fire an employee for no reason or a reason that does not make sense. It does raise the issue of what the "real" reason for termination is and if that reason is discriminatory(age, race, religion, national origin and others) you may want to speak with a local employment attorney regarding possible options.
