Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

fired from position

I have been working as a nursing

supervisor for a Gastro-intestinal

clinic for over six years. I was

recently fired from the position, in

spite of receiving consistently exceptional evaluations; the reason given that they now require a nurse who has a master's degree. I do not have a master's degree. Is this legal?
