Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Hi, I currently left my employee to pursue another opportunity with a competitor. My cell phone number was my personal cell phone number from 2005. And I've been with him since 2008. I have documentation from the wireless carrier indicating this. My previous employee gave me a phone reimbursement in my check since clients contacted my on this number. When that employer closed I went to work for this employer in the same industry who had my number ported on to another cell phone which the company paid for. I just left this company and my new employer ported my cell phone number, that I've had since 2005, on to a new phone. I gave my old employer the actual cell phone back. I am being harrassed from my ex-employer that he wants my cell phone number import back to the company, even though I explained to him that it's my phone number from 2005. He doesn't want customers calling me on this number. He said he'll report me (and my co-worker who is with me also with the same situation) to the "authorities" if I don't give him back the phone number. Does he have the right to do this??
