Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I'm a minor (age 17) i did web work for a client for $280.. he has been avoiding me and hasn't paid me anything. I'm thinking of taking him to Small Claims beacuse I'm 17 and this guy is 35 . He lives in the same town as me as well. Its been 4 months without payment filled with lies and deceit. He has even threatened me by saying things like, "You don't wanna mess with me kid" etc... I just wanted to see what advice you have for me and what i can do about it.. i have all documents regarding the work, all emails between us, and screenshoots of his threats. I'm not sure what to do.. Thank you, Jameson

File a small claims or get a lawyer to represent you and get their fees and costs for having to use the guy. Speak to your county or the U.S. Department of Labor about child labor violations. You can also check out my web site at www.takethisjobnshoveitblog.com or my web site www.behrenlaw.com
