Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Opening juvinelle records.

My son was hired as a unarmed security guard and was terminated because of a arrest of carrying a concealed weapon (pocket knife) and trespass on school grounds (waiting for a bus on a sidewalk). The arrest and the no pros result happened when he was 15, 7 years ago. My question, is it legal for a employer to open a juvinile record. It was suppose to have been sealed.

Re: Opening juvinelle records.

Is it possible that your son signed a release during the application process that allowed the employer to open any court records that may have been sealed?
