overpayment
I was fired from my employer on 01/25/08 as of 02/29/08 I have not recviced my last payment when i contacted the payroll department i was told i was over paid on my previous check. I then asked for the documents proving that i was overpaid the company refuses to provide the documents to. What action if any can i take at this time?

You can contact the US Dept of Labor who enforces minimum wage and overtime laws, among other things.
