Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Un paid wages

I was laid off on April 04/24/09. The letter from my employer stated '' As result of a financila requeariments that we reduce forces we unfortunaly find it necessary to end your employment with company name effective 4/24/09''. The letter did not stated how much they owed me on wages or when they were planing on me. The total amount due is $ 2250.00 Gross or $ 2032.89 after deductions. The previus amount reflect three weeks of unpaid salary before being laid off.

Re: Un paid wages

The letter is not required to give you wage information. They still owe you, however. Just contact the human resources people or the pay person to find out when you get your final check.
