Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I recently resigned from my job after giving them 2 weeks notice. The day prior to my last day the office manager has now informed me that they will not pay me for work that I have completed stating that it is policy. She is however unable to produce this policy and prove it to me. Is it not the law that they pay me for this no matter what? And what can I do to get this paid to me?

They owe you for the work you performed. Sounds like it is their policy to stiff people that resign. Tell them that you will sue them if they do not pay you for the work you performed and then if they fail to do so, sue them.
