Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Is this retalitory harassment?

Pay day is Monday, but holiday. Paychecks always issued on Friday in such case. Questioned manager who intended to withold paychecks till saturday to make people work on a day that is not required. Became irrate and verbally abusive. Corporate called, checks passed out on Friday. After incident received two attendance warnings at once, against company policy. Production probation a week later. A private note I wrote on monitoring sheet negligently exposed to co-workers. At HR and manager meeting, manager cried, made reference to my siblings death, and claimed no memory of actions. I filed in house complaint, and notified corporate. Monitoring note was in reference to acts I felt violated laws and deceptive practices being used. I was removed from calling that program. Co-workers have made negative comments, and have been distant since. Is this legal and ethical business practices?

Could be, however see where the grievance procedure goes. Add it to your complaint. Goodluck.
