Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I am single mother with minor children I have been sent to another state to work strike duty - how long can my company force me to be away from my family - I am a management person. Not protected by a union.

That depends on a number of factors, including specifically whether or not you have an employment contract. Presumably you do not, which means you are an at-will employee. As such, the company can ask you to relocate as a condition of your continued employment. Your options are either to accept the relocation, or to discontinue your employment.
