Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

can I be terminated from a job based on what an employees CLAIMS I did to them without any investigation by the HR dept, to ask me my side of the situation? I am a manager, employee claims i took hands and pushed them into a drawer. I touched, I did not forceable push or injure employee nor push hands into the drawer. I am 3 year employee, claiment is 3 months.

The short answer is yes you can be terminated. However, your company may have a policy manual which outlines procedures for this type of incident and if your company violated those procedures then you may have a claim.

If you have a policy and procedure manual or employee handbook, check it out and see if it discusses a policy related to employee accusations and terminations for cause. If it does, and your company did not follow its own rules, then you should consult with an employment lawyer.
