Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
I work for a city in Florida that is trying to institute a policy on tattoos. They are attempting to ban any new visible tattoos. As a public employee, does this policy violate my 1st ammendment right to freedom of expression? I understand that in the private sector, employers can pretty much do whatever they want (within reason), but what about us municipal employees?

They probably have some control. I do not think that they would be forced to retain you if you decided to put a Nazi swastika in the liddle of your forehaed, for instance.
