Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I work for a local tow company who doesn't offer any benefits, no paid vacat. or time off. They pay a percentage gross of what the truck makes to the driver. If there is no work, we don't get paid. Is there something that can be done or does the company have to offer a base pay salary? I put in about 55 hours per week, and that pay is not reflecting that at all.

If you are an employee, you must make at least minimum wage per hour worked -- not minimum wage base pay + commission for jobs, just minimum wage total compensation.
