Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

We hired a property management company to manage and handle our rental home contract.

The lease terminated May 31. We spent several hundred dollars for repairs on home caused by previous renters. We have yet to receive any money collected by management company from the deposit. Our inquiry to the company says they our waiting on release of funds from Corporate. I have submitted all necesaary receits for documentation on the repairs within ten days of the end of lease. It has now been 45 days and I have yet to receive any reimbursement. Is there legal action I can bring against them for lack of payment?

Have you tried sending them a demand letter, usually through an attorney is a fast way to get results.

I agree with my colleague. You can also file a small claims case for breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation.
