Landlord retains security deposit

mylandlord has retained my security deposit based on a overinflated estimate. They are claiming paint and carpet as my responsibility after 33 months of ocupency. Live one year then community went condo didnt but had the insider price because of my tenancy Sold that to the new landlord owner then rented from them. One owner in front of witness said he expected the condo to be in Move In condition upon my exit. The same owner told me in early december that he would be painting and reflooring then hits me with the security retention. January forth met me at the condo and said that the carpet and painting was my responsiblity Spackled ever little hole repaired a single slat on a door sanded and repainted Cleaned carpet came out new condition. Fumigated house and hand cleaned all baseboard. Still willnot return dep
