Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Can my lot rent be raised when it has on my lease what the monthly rent will be? There is no clause talking about raising the rent.

Generally rent can not be increased during the lease term unless the contract (lease) specifically allows for it. However, upon the renewal the landlord has the option of changing the rent.

Is correct. You don't state what the term if your lease is or if it perhaps is a month to month arrangement. Have your lease reviewed by an attorney
