Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Last month,we were served with a Notice to Vacate or Pay Rent because we were late paying the rent. We paid up. Later that day,we were served with a Notice of Termination of Tenancy. It states that our tenancy is terminated effective April 1st. Termination is being made on oral month-to-month basis within excess of 15 days notice being given to us. It also says if we elect to continue tenancy we are holdover tenants. If we holdover after April 1st,we have to pay double the monthly rent. My question is if we don't pay,how many days after that before we're actually evicted. Our landlord says he can do it immediately. I'm not saying we won't pay;I just want to know how long it would take to evict us. Oh and we don't have a written lease.

If you dont leave on 4/1/13, then they can file suit thereafter. You could be ordered to be out within 30 days thereafter and may be responsible for holdover rents.
