Does my ex roommate have any legal right to come back to my residence after he has completely moved out, made it clear to the complex and me that he has moved out, and established an entirely new residence, but is still paying the rest of the money he owes on the lease? [Edit]

If he is paying rent, then yes he has an interest in the house. However if there is a legal reason he is not allowed back, then it could be Trespass or Burglary.
