Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I share a house owned by my brother in law and pay rent monthly to him. There is no written lease and he came to me today and said get out without any notice and demanded his key back. My rent is current and am planning to move the middle of September. there is no working it out with him, what are my rights if any. He has locked some of my items in a shed and will not let me have access to them. I am afraid as soon as I leave for work he will not let me back in, Everything is in his name (electric water and even this internet I am using. What notice does he have to give me and what recourse do I have

Without a written lease, notice is determined by the timing of the rental. Every 30 days would mean 14 days notice. Statute 83.57

(1) When the tenancy is from year to year, by giving not less than 60 days’ notice prior to the end of any annual period;

(2) When the tenancy is from quarter to quarter, by giving not less than 30 days’ notice prior to the end of any quarterly period;

(3) When the tenancy is from month to month, by giving not less than 15 days’ notice prior to the end of any monthly period; and

(4) When the tenancy is from week to week, by giving not less than 7 days’ notice prior to the end of any weekly period.
