Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

We have a tenant on a month to month verbal agreement with no lease. We want to renovate his area. We would like him to move out while the work is done. Are we within our rights to require this?

You can terminate the lease on 15 days notice. You would need to evict if the tenant does not move. If you just want him to move while the work is done, try and work out an agreement for him to vacate while this is accomplished. Do you want him back? Perhaps he will move out for the time involved and then come back.
