Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

Sir,

I am new US immigrant and wife is here for last 5 years and she has not much connections. We have bought a new car from a big dealer ship.

we have agreed on price +actual tax+tag+registration. we have paid a down payment of US $ 5000/- as it become night the finance manager kept very less light in the room. for the money we looked for finance he has given us wrong calculation and show a seris of paper for signature one of them was sale contract which my wife could not recoganise . when we asked for the copy of the purchase contract hetold he has given a packet told us it is inside that. Since our kids were qurelling we could not check it is their or not.

Once we reached home we find out that there is no sale contract we contacted them. they were reluctant to talk later they have called us and signed a form which is for cancelling service contract, gap contract us thus we could save US $ 4500/- apart from that they have added addition US $ 2000 to the total bill under various heads which they told they cannot remove it.

They just cheated us in every way. In pricing, billing thus we have lost around US $ 4000/-

they have provide the copy of sale contract after 7 days. Is their anyways we can get those money back.I have send them a series of emails after that only they agreed to deduct some of the item. when i told them i am new do not cheat they told me welcome to america

is it of any use if we approach Better business bureau, consumer division etc. We have few proof on agreed price. A witness for giving the copy of contract after seven days.will it help?

Regards

kevin richard

Hello,

Your question does not involve the ethics of an attorney, so it should be posted under consumer law, as you were cheated by a car dealership.

You will likely need to file a suit against the dealership for fraud.
