Malpractice?

can I sue the military because of their negligence of my dental issues, which has forced me to retire medically?

Yes. Your claim is governed by what we call the FTCA (Federal Tort Claims Act). You need to make sure that any lawyer you see has ACTUAL experience in federal court practice, since it is a little different that state court practice. Also, a claim under the FTCA has different notice requirements than the "normal" medical malpractice case. Finally, you are not entitled to a jury when you sue -- a judge decides the case.
