Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

change lawyers

Can I change lawyers when a case is in the appeals process if my attorney ( who handled the case at trial) does not want to continue? (even if he is the one that filed the appeals motions)

Re: change lawyers

You do have the right to change attorneys during the appeal process. Your current attorney would stay on the case until the new one notified the court that they were taking over the case.

I will be glad to discuss this with you in more detail if you want to give me a call. No charge or obligation for a confidential telephone call.
