Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

July 2010 went to gyn to have Essure procedure, doctor stopped procedure and stated to me he did not place device. I have my med record from this gyn that specifically states "Essure attempt abandoned. Upon placing implant in left tube patient began to complain of severe left side pain and procedure stopped. Essure not deployed and removed. Patient observed. Recommend laparoscopic bilateral tubal ligation." Sept. 2011 went to urgent care clinic for UTI and possible kidney stone, CT scan revealed not only kidney stones in both kidneys but urgent care doctor stated a device that appears to be of the nature of an Essure implant is in my uterine cavity. I have requested and am awainting med records from urgent care clinic with CT report. I have made appt. with different gyn to get confirmation on what exactly is in uterine cavity

Depending on what is there, you may have a malpractice claim; however, if it is removed without injury to you, then the claim probably cannot be economically pursued.

See what is there and then gicve a medical malpractice lawyer a call. I would be happy to speak with you if you wish.
