Florida has a Wrongful Death Act that says only surviving spouses or children under the age of 25 are able to bring a medical malpractice lawsuit for death. If your father was married or has children under 25, you should contact an attorney, who will get his hospital records and have them reviewed by medical experts to see if there was any negligence that caused his death. Good luck.
