Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Medical Malpractice Suit

I know I have a malpractice suit against Baptist Hospital in Florida. I did have an attorney in Florida, but since I had to move back to my home state they dropped my case because they siad they could not determine what happened to me? When I had my 2 back surgeries & 1 breast that had a limp node in it. I spent 3 mo in the hospital and had to leave, because of my Insurance would no longer over me? I still am stuck in this wheel chair can function right? I don't know what to do because no one wants to take the case, because it happened in Florida? And I can't travel back to Florida to have an attorney take it on consignment. My life has been a living nightmare every since I had these surgeries in 2003. I'm lost for words what this has done to my family alone! What do I do? Who do I contact that will take this case out of State?

Living out of state should not prevent an attorney from taking your case, if there is a case to take. You need to speak with an attorney that specializes in medical malpractice (not just one that says he or she does). This site and others will steer you in the right direction. I handle these types of cases, so feel free to contact me. You can find information on our home page.
