Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Can I sue a doctor for making a mistake on my prescription and writing the wrong medication? Thank you.

technically you can sue anyone for anything, the question becomes whether you can maintain the law suit and will you have a chance to win.

For a medical malpractice claim to be brought the first thing an attorney is going to do is look to see what injuries resulted from the alleged act. If there were no injuries then the liklihood of suing is not very high.

Not unless you were injured. You can't sue someone for running a red light and not hitting you either.
