Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Undiagnosed Diabetes

When my wife was pregnant six years ago, she was on insulin for gestational diabetes. When the baby came, her OB took her off and her primary never tested her again even though she has many painful symptoms over the years. She even had other surgeries for the pain. No one tested. The OB removed an ovary and removed the lining of her uterus to help with the pain. He never tested. She was finally diagnosed last Jan. Now she has Neuropathy and eye damage. Can she sue?

Re: Undiagnosed Diabetes

Under the facts that you describe there is certainly reason to believe that the treating physician may have committed malpractice. My firm has 2 doctors on staff to review such claims and routinely handles cases like this on a contingency basis. I'd be happy to speak with you and your wife regarding a potential case. You can call me toll-free at (888)FRISCH-LAW for a free consultation if you'd like.
