Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Auto Accident.

What are my chances of sueing and winning for personal injuries from an auto accident without a police report? I got into an accident 6 months ago, the other drivers car swerve into my lane and scratched my car. We exchanged info with no police report and no witnesses. I was hurt at the time but wasn't serious at the moment and had to be somewhere. Then felt a hip injury few months later. I got the hip injury fixed and now i have medical bills. The other driver filed a claim through my insurance the day of the accident stating it was my fault. Few weeks later, I was notified that the other driver filed a claim. I lost the other drivers information, then I complained to my insurance that it was the other driviers fault.

Re: Auto Accident.

An accident report is irrelevant. An accident report is not admissible in evidence and any tickets received are not admissible. Sounds like it will be your word against the other driver's though. That can be a tough case.
