Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I was on the birth control injection, Depo Provera for over 11 yrs. when it was dicovered that use over 2 yrs. could cause significant bone loss. I was found to have osteoporosis about 5yrs ago at the age of 32. Most bone mass is aquired during the same years that I was on the medication. I did not pursue legal action because I was told my condition was reversible. Since then my condition has worsened and I have exceeded the statute of limitations. My job requires that I stand all day and I am uninsured and very worried that I might eventually become disabled with nowhere to turn. Are there any exceptions to a statute of limitations? Is there anything I can do?

If you have seen a lawyer about this issue who does medical malpractice or products liability, then the answer you received is probably correct. Always seek a second opinion.
