Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I cut my hand picking up my drink at a restraunt ( the glass shattered) I was on vacation by myself, I asked for a manager because I was bleeding everywhere. he told me to wash it off in the bathroom, when i came out,the manager was no where to be found. I needed medical attention , I called a cab to take me to the nearest hospital I then discovered I severed the tendon in my hand and needed surgery, I returned to the restarunt to fill out a form. I took the next flight home and had surgery, the restraunt refused to pay the bill , Iv hired a lawyer but I want to know what should I be asking for? and what are the guidlines?

You hired a lawyer but want to know what you should be asking for? You mean the amount of money? Well, as I'm sure your attorney explained, there are no set guidelines. It depends on your medical bills, the restaurant's degree of negligence, your pain and suffering, lost wages, etc. Please ask your attorney to explain these things which are specific to your case.
