Call an attorney and consult with them. This is typical of insurance companies dealing with someone who does not have an attorney - offer you paltry compensation despite any injury you have, even where someone else should arguably be liable for your injuries.

Our firm has dealt with similar cases before and would be willing to assist you if you would like to contact us. I wish you the best in any case.

Speak with an attorney immediately. It sounds like you may have herniated a disc and could require more treatment than a one time doctor visit. It would be best to speak with counsel to properly advise you of all of your options. I would be happy to speak with you if you do not know of any lawyers in your area. My number is 561-361-9600. Good luck.

First off, do not accept any offers from the insurance company. Secondly, contact an attorney in your geographical area. If you are in Dade or Broward County, my number is 786-423-9902. Good luck.

Shooting pain down the leg is a significant sign of injury. You must go to a qualified orthopdic surgeon or a neurologist. Do not accept any token settlement. You may have a claim against the restaurant and/or the chair manufacturer. Steps should be taken to prevent destruction of the chair and for preservation. it may be defective. You need guidance of an experienced lawyer if you have a serious injury.. The prior lawyers gave you good advice. Listen to them.

If you have insurance, go to your own doctor. Do not accept the preliminary settlement until you know the full extent of your injuries. And, do not sign any kind of a waiver of liability for the restaurant. You could have seriously injured yourself, so you may want to contact an attorney. Regards,
