I would suggest that your case is worth the full policy limits of $100,000.00. You need to know how much insurance the bad driver has, how much insurance the owner of the vehicle that the bad driver has, whether the bad driver was working at the time of the crash, and whether there is any Underinsured Motorist insurance for you or the car you were driving. These additional insurance policies may provide even more benefits to you. But be careful since taking some of the other parties Bodily Injury insurance may cause you to waive any Underinsured Motorist coverage. This is a tricky area of the law and you should retain a lawyer so that you don't make a big mistake and lose other insurance benefits you may be entitled to.

You dont get paid for the surgery you cannot have. You get paid for the permanent nature of your injuries. Seek legal assistance to determine the actual value of your case.

Are you represented by an attorney? If so, you should consult with your attorney because he knows the facts of the case. If you do not have an attorney, you would benefit from hiring one. In particular, you should look for a lawyer who is board certified in civil trial law, as are the lawyers in our office. Please feel free to give us a call. We offer a free initial consultation.
