Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I was injured riding a city bus in Florida and was questioning since Florida is a no fault state if anyone would attempt to file a PIP claim against a spouse that I seperated with over a year ago but think I'm still under his auto policy?

If a person is injured while riding on a city bus, their own Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits do NOT apply for any injuries sustained as a result of an accident while occupying the vehicle used for mass transit (this exception does not apply to school buses). However, if another vehicle was involved in the accident, that drivers PIP will cover you as long as the vehicle used for mass transit is owned by a municipality, a transit authority, or a political subdivision of the state. You may also be able to file a claim against the at-fault party (if applicable).
