Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Lost on Car Accident Insurance lawsuits

We are being told that the guy who caused the accident was only covered up to 50,000 dollars. Our PIP only covered 10,000 dollars, and we dont have medical insurance to pick up the difference. In Florida, our PIP, is suppose to cover our medical bills, and lost wages, however the bills are right at 70,000 dollars. Does this mean, we will still end up paying for the rest of the hospital bills out of our pocket, and recieve no compensation for lost wages, and pain and suffering?

Not necessarily. if you have an attorney you should be asking them. If you do not have one, you should.
