Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Should a married couple change the names on the titles of their vehicles to only one name (that of the driver) in case of accident and resulting law suits? Would that prevent the court from attaching the sole property of the non-driver?

Having the name of only one owner on a car would work to prevent the other spouse from being sued, only if the other spouse did not drive the car which caused the accident. In short, you need to limit the use of the car to the owner. Anyone who drives the car and causes an accident can be sued along with the owner.
