how much could a person sue for when her child got stabbed in school and they only are going to sue because there was no supervision?

If it is a public school, then you may be limited to statutory caps of $100,000. If a private school, then there is no limit. Keep in mind the amont of recovery is based on the nature of the injury and how it affects a person.
