Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I was in a rear-end accident caused by having to stop for an umarked LEO vehicle, running with emergency lights on, crossed in front of me going to a residential alarm. The alarm was found to be false. Could the alarm company be held responsible for damages and/or injuries?

The vehicle that hit you can be found at fault. The alarm company being found at fault would be difficult. Depends on the circumstances of the 'false' alarm.
