Re: Wood in sandwich at reaturant

Your wife and you may have claims against the restaurant, but the claims may not have much economic value unless you can prove that the injury is more than just a temporary tooth ache. Did she have to go to the hospital? What type of medical treatment did she (or will she) have to receive? What is her dentist telling her about her prognosis? Will she need extensive work to the teeth that were affected? How much will the medical treatment cost? The answers to these questions may determine whether you will find a qualified lawyer that may be willing to accept the case and pursue the potential claims against all parties that may share responsibility for the damages suffered. Yes you can have professional take photos of the sandwich and the wood using a macro lens (close up) and put the in the freezer to try to preserve them. Generally foreign objets found in food makes the restaurant strictly responsible. Their insurance company should respond to a proper presentation of your claim by an attorney.

As in the answer above you should be able to present a claim. The amount of your recovery is related to how hurt you are from the injury.
