Sold a working refrigerator. Buyers call the next day and said it was not working. They want their money back. We refuse to take back a refrigerator they broke. They are taking us to small claims court. Where do we stand??

Was this an individual sale from one person to another? If a business, then my answer would be totally different. Did you sell it as is? If so, no warranty. Find out the cause of the refrigerator not working. Defend yourself by responding to the small claims case.Want to know the law? It depends on what the judge believes is the reason the refridge broke.
