Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My apt complex did an inspection today and saw that i have a pit bull ..they told me that i have 24 hours to get rid of her because they have a no pit bull rule.. i told them that nowhere on the lease does it state no pit bulls or any kind of pet restrition. they said say it does.. i went to the office and got a copy of the lease and read it with the asst office manager and nowhere on there is any pet restrictions. she told me i would have to talk to the property manager.. do i have any legal stand

If the lease has no such restrictions, you likely dont have to remove the animal. It does not mean that they wont make life a little difficult. Be sure about your position and the "rules and regs" if any that are incorporated in your lease.
