Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

we bought a home 10 mos ago in FL. We just discovered a leak in the roof. The roofer told us we need a new roof ($11,000) and that it had already been patched 2 times in 2 other areas. The roof is the original 15 yrs old. The home inspector we hired when we bought told us the roof was in good shape. He walked it and told us it was 5-7 yrs old. Never mentioned any of the above. Do we have a case against the inspector to reclaim some money to pay for a new roof?

U have an uphill fight on UR hands w/ the hm. inspector. Look @ the sellers. Fla. Law requires disclosure of hidden defects if the sellers knew about them. See what they disclosed in the contract. If they failed to disclose the condition of the roof, U could also collect atty. fees under the contract.
