Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I was charged $118 upon ending my apartment lease for cleaning costs. I had given a security deposit of $100 (plus 5% per yr for 4 yrs) as reflected on my 2009 lease. I do not have a copy of the most current lease dated 2012 but collection agency says it does not show that I paid a deposit at all. They claim that the last lease is the only one that matters anyway. Does that mean I just lose my deposit beause I didn't catch the fact that they left it off of my most current lease?

Any money which you paid should be credited, BUT you obviously have to prove that it was paid and not just by the written statement in the original lease.
