evicted tenant took appliances.....gone when e got the property back,,,,,,.can i charge with theft?

Yes, actually you can either call the police and file a police report for criminal theft/larceny or you hire a general practice attorney and file a claim against the tenant for civil theft. You may be entitled to triple damages under civil theft. Hopefully, the tenant is "collectable".
